Our couple, Jesse and Arsha, had been together since high school. One day they realized they were madly in love, had a lot in common and wanted to spend their lives together. Jesse & Arsha decided to get married in the traditional and very emotional setting of the Ancaster Old Mill, a well-known historic landmark in Hamilton, Ontario. For many years the couple has been thinking about what their dream wedding ceremony will look like. When they visited the Ancaster chapel, they momentarily figured out - it was the place from their dreams.
The so-awaited wedding day arrived. Jesse woke up early, overwhelmed with excitement and just a little worried about the best day. He started to get ready in his room, surrounded by his closest family and friends. He put on his sharp black suit and waited anxiously for the ceremony to begin. Meanwhile, Arsha was getting ready in a separate room with her mom and bridesmaids. She donned her beautiful white wedding gown and couldn't help but feel a little nervous about the moment she would go down the island and Jesse would see her for the first time. "What would his reaction be like? Would he cry?" - tons of questions like these were coming to her.
The excitement was noticeable as the guests arrived at the chapel. The groom and his team welcomed all people at the entrance to the Ancaster Mill chapel. We captured many candid Ancaster mill wedding photos at that memorable part of their wedding day.
As the ceremony at Ancaster Mill chapel began, the guests were seated in the pews, waiting for the main two people to arrive. The music started playing, and the doors to the chapel opened. The groomsmen and Jesse started to enter. But the crowd was waiting for the bride. All guests were so excited to see Arsha walking down the aisle, holding her dad's arm. She looked so beautiful and happy. As she appeared at the entrance of the Ancaster Mill chapel, Jesse couldn't hold back the tears streaming down his face. What to say? He was overwhelmed with love, joy and genuine emotions at the sight of his soon-to-be wife. Arsha smiled at him, her eyes also filled with tears, knowing that the love of her life had finally seen her.
It was a very emotional ceremony. The couple exchanged vows and shared their commitment to one another. Jesse spoke about how he had always known Arsha was the one and how gorgeous she looked today. Arsha mentioned her feelings when she saw Jesse crying while she walked down the aisle and how that moment showed their feelings for each other. Jesse's tears symbolized the deep love that he and Arsha shared. Those seconds stayed in the guests' minds and hearts and in wedding photos at Ancaster Mill chapel.
After the memorable wedding ceremony at Ancaster Mill Chapel, the newlywed couple went for their wedding photoshoot. The itinerary the Pearl Weddings & Events planner suggested to us was truly great. We started capturing Ancaster old mill wedding photos in beautiful gardens near the chapel. Jesse and Arsha truly enjoyed posing for the camera. As wedding photographers, we suggested some cool and unique poses for the couple that perfectly showed the essence of their love. We made a relatively long stop near the Ancaster Mill waterfall. The aerial Ancaster mill wedding photos easily became our couple's favourites. We did not forget to take pictures in front of charming stone walls, which created a unique contrast with Jesse & Arsha's wedding attire. The couple was thrilled with the Ancaster mill wedding photography and couldn't wait to see the final wedding gallery. They knew these photos would be a lasting reminder of the special day they had shared together.
The reception was held at the Old Mill, where the couple and their guests enjoyed a delicious meal, honoured traditions and danced the night away. Almost all guests gathered on the dance floor, having a great time. The evening was finished with a champagne tower, adding a touch of glamour to the celebration. Everyone cheered and raised their glasses, toasting to the happy couple.
The wedding of Jesse and Arsha at the Ancaster Old Mill was a day that they, and all of their loved ones, would never forget. It was a celebration of their love. I am sure the moment when Jesse saw Arsha in her wedding gown for the first time will always be remembered as one of the most touching and special moments of their life. I hope the Ancaster wedding photographer did a great job! :)
